As in previous years, the IFHT will once again be offering an exciting technical excursion for the students in the Pentecost week from June 10th to June 14th 2019. The excursion takes us this year along the German and Dutch North Sea coast, more precisely Hamburg, Aurich, Arnhem and Delft. The focus is on companies that deal with topics of electrical and energy technology in their everyday life and thus can give you a special insight into the practice.
On departure day we start early in the morning to get to Hamburg via bus. There we get to know P3, Schleswig-Holstein Netz AG in Rendsburg and maybe even more. After two nights in Hamburg we head to Aurich where we will get to know the turbine production of Enercon. In the evening we will visit a power-to-gas plant of Open Grid Europe. On our fourth day we head to Arnhem, where we visit the energy sector of the classification society DNV GL in their test laboratory. On the last day, before we go back to Aachen, we make a detour to the cable production of the Prysmian Group in Delft.
As always, our Pentecost Excursion is not only a great way to connect with companies. In addition to the official program, we will get to know the cities, especially Hamburg, and spend an unforgettable week together.
The registration period ends on April 30th.
For the successful completion of the binding registration, the payment of a contribution fee of 95€ per student is required after the end of the registration phase. This fee covers the common bus trip, most of the meals, lodgings and the supporting program. Further information about the payment will be announced via e-mail after the registration phase.Copyright: IFHT
